Wide shot from extinct volcano, Dundee Law, of Dundee port and the Firth of Tay going out to sea. Dundee is the fourth largest city in Scotland with a population of some 130,000. It was once a major centre for producing jute, marmalade and ships as well as supporting industries like whaling and publishing. Biomedical and technological industries arrived in the late 1980s, and the city now accounts for 10 per cent of the digital-entertainment industry in the UK.
