Congresswoman McClellan calls FBI director nominee Patel a Trump sycophant who promised to turn bureau into deep state museum

Virginia Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan says at a news conference after House Judiciary Committee Democrats sent a letter to Senate counterparts calling on them to reject the nomination of Kash Patel to be FBI Director that Patel repeatedly proved himself a Trump sycophant who justified the president's actions regardless of legality, excused the unauthorized transfer of classified information to Mar-a-Lago, promised to dismantle the FBI into a Deep State museum, and failed to assure protection from political prosecution.
