The professional baseball game of Central League between Hiroshima Toyo Carp and Yokohama DeNABayStars was held as 'Peace Nighter' on August 6, the day the atomic bomb was dropped onto Hiroshima 74 years ago. The game took place at MAZDA Zoom-Zoom Stadium Hiroshima, located in the city center. The event is held every year on August 6 to commemorate victims of the bombing and call for the elimination of nuclear weapons.
