TUZLA DISTRICT, ISTANBUL-JAN. 8: Türkiye's Marmara Region has been grappling with severe storms and strong winds since Thursday morning, Jan. 8, causing significant damage across Istanbul and neighboring provinces.The adverse weather conditions, which intensified throughout the day, have disrupted daily life in multiple districts of the metropolis.In the Tuzla district, rising waves caused by the storm led to boats anchored along the coast to capsize. Some vessels crashed into the shore and broke apart, while others sank.
