Western Australia's Hard Border Restrictions Ease To Allow Interstate Travel

Western Australia's hard border transitioned to a controlled interstate border as of 12:01 on Saturday, with travellers from Queensland, South Australia, Northern Territory, Tasmania and the ACT now permitted to enter the state. People arriving from Victoria and New South Wales will be required to self-quarantine for 14 days and take a COVID-19 test on day 11, while all other travellers will be required to undergo a health screening and temperature check on arrival and declare they haven't come from Victoria or NSW.
