Congresswoman Stansbury says constituents, New Mexico families still suffer from painful history of nuclear weapons testing radiation exposure

New Mexico Congresswoman Melanie Stansbury says at a news conference to urge Congress to act on reauthorizing the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act that New Mexico's first congressional district is home to the Trinity nuclear test site where radiation fallout devastated surrounding communities, as well as the Navajo uranium miners whose labor enabled the nuclear arsenal.
