Senator Franken on Trump Officials Support for Gorsuch at Supreme Court Confirmation Hearing

Minnesota Senator Al Franken engages Supreme Court nominee Judge Neil Gorsuch during the first round of questioning on the second day of his nomination hearing before the Committee. Franken refers to deregulation and the Gorsuch nomination in remarks at the CPAC convention by White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and Chief Strategist Steve Bannon about changing law and deconstruction of the administrative state. Gorsuch asserts that they do not speak for him, he speaks for himself, a judge, his own man. Franken asks whether cabinet appointees are brought for that task, Gorsuch redirecting Franken to that deconstruction which he says he believes Gorsuch is a part of that goal.
