Serbian athletes welcomed by thousands in Belgrade

BELGRADE, SERBIA - SEPTEMBER 12: Legendary Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic and the Serbian National Basketball Team were welcomed with enthusiasm by thousands of people in front of the Serbian Parliament in the capital Belgrade on Tuesday, Sept. 12. On Sunday, Novak Djokovic won the 2023 US Open men's singles title by beating Daniil Medvedev 6-3, 7-6(7-5), 6-3 in the final. On the same day, the Serbian National Basketball Team lost the final match against Germany in the FIBA 2023 World Cup and received the silver medal.
