King Charles III hosts New Zealand women's rugby team; ***FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY USED*** ENGLAND: London: Buckingham Palace: INT Allan Bunting (New Zealand Black Ferns coach) speaking SOT King Charles III speaking SOT - I've already said I hope that you have great success, I'm split in my loyalties, so I'll try to be as careful as possible / can I also say that I feel deeply for the loss of the King (Kiingi Tuheitia Potatau Te Wherowhero VII) so suddenly, having spoken to him on the telephone recently / and to hear he'd died was a real shock, and I have such happy memories of seeing him in New Zealand but also here at the time of the Coronation, he so kindly came all the way for that / so I can imagine what an impact his departure has had in New Zealand / so again my deepest condolences / I much appreciated this chance to meet you and to have such a warm hug (laughter) / very healing, anyway, I hope you all take care of yourselves and as I said I'm extremely sorry I can't come to New Zealand in later October because of doctor's orders, but I hope there'll be another excuse before too long / in the meantime, give my love to New Zealand please and New Zealanders / we get lots of nice Kiwis coming here, this part of the world, we're very lucky indeed / I hope you make the most of your time in the team because you don't stay young for very long as I've discovered, it all goes quicker than you think / anyway I do hope you have great success.
