Italian striker Ciro Immobile arrives in Istanbul to become new Besiktas footballer

ISTANBUL, TÜRKİYE - JULY 13, 2024: Italian footballer Ciro Immobile arrived in Istanbul on Saturday (July 13) as he enters transfer talks with Turkish club Besiktas.The 34-year-old striker was greeted by nearly a thousand enthusiastic fans at the General Aviation Terminal.Immobile shared moments of joy with the black-and-white supporters, even joining them in their traditional "Üçlü" chant.The experienced forward was visibly moved by the warm reception.Besiktas is expected to finalize the transfer by signing a contract with Immobile following medical examinations scheduled for tomorrow.Previously playing for Italian side Lazio, Immobile scored 11 goals in 43 appearances across all competitions last season.(Footage by Murat Karadağ/Anadolu Agency via Getty Images)
