Jeb Hensarling opens Equifax data breach hearing

House Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling of Texas opens an oversight hearing of the House Financial Services Committee into a data breach at credit monitoring company Equifax. Hensarling says that criminals got basically everything they need to steal an identity, open credit card accounts in your name and cause untold frustration and financial calamity. Hensarling says in the era of big data, large-scale security breaches unfortunately are becoming too common.
