Tony Randall Shares His Opinions on Fast Food, Fashion, and Sex

Interviewer: Food and fast food? Tony: Oh, that’s all right. I’m not a snob about food. I like good food but you gotta have a lot of money. America leads the world in good fast food. If you want to get a quick Burger King or anything else anywhere else in the world, you miss the good old U.S.A. We’re masters at that. Interviewer: Fads or fashion? Tony: I wouldn’t know anything about that. I’ve never owned a car. All my clothes are 30 years old. Interviewer: Language and conversation? Tony: I wish I were a master of language. I’m not multilingual. That’s close to being a disgrace. We all ought to speak several languages. And of course you people in Canada do. Interviewer: Some of us. Not all of us by any means. Tony: Well you should. Interviewer: I agree with you. Interviewer: Sex? Tony: Can’t get enough. Never had enough yet. Although these days it seems easier to have eough. I don’t understand it. I’ve never been one to praise sexual morality. When we speak of morals, people are only talking of sex. And the words shouldn’t be connected. The thoughts shouldn’t be connected.
