USWNT Super Fan Jumps on Field, Scores Autograph from Carli Lloyd

After the USWNT closed the 2019 Victory Tour with a 1-1 tie against Korea Republic, a super fan jumped on the field in an attempt to meet a certain player. Chrisoula Motamed filmed the occurrence while attending the game at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois on October 6. Motamed told Storyful she was trying to film the players waving and walking when the fan leapt from the stands. "I didn't even realize the girl was running onto the field," she said. "I thought that she fell by accident, and then saw Allie Long run after her," added Motamed Long is seen attempting to stop the fan who successfully makes her way to Carli Lloyd. Lloyd then signs her jersey, and the fan is escorted off the field. "She didn't go very far, so not that many people saw it. But everyone around me was pretty confused," Motamed said.
