The fort wall of Bhambore, falling towards the northern side of this ancient city.The archaeological site of Bhambore is situated on National Highway, about 64 km east of Karachi. It is the place which is referred to be as "Debal" -the historical seaport which was then ruled by Raja Dahir. It is also established that from here the Islam started spreading in the Southeast Asia when the young Arab warrior Muhammad Bin Qasim landed his armies in 711 A.D, and conquered the city of Debal. The artifacts found from the debris are indicative of three different periods that have been coincided in this ruined city which are Scytho-Parthian, the Hindu-Buddhist and the early Islamic.
