Naval exercise "Northern Coasts" on the Baltic Sea

11 September 2019, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Rostock: During the naval autumn manoeuvre "Northern Coasts" a helicopter "Sea King" of the task force supplier "Bonn" of the German Navy takes off. The manoeuvre with more than 40 ships will take place from 06.-18.09.2019 on the Baltic Sea. The aim of the exercise, which will last a good two weeks and involve around 3,000 soldiers from 18 nations, is to protect the sea routes under a fictitious UN mandate.
