Katharine Hepburn in Striped Gown

(Original Caption) 4/15/1935- Gown of Another Stripe- This startingly unusual hostess gown in hand-loomed taffeta, striped in apple and myrtle green, is worn by Katharine Hepburn, RKO- Radio star. The gown is fitted in the bodice by close goring of the light stripes, the skirt flaring from the waist to floor in sunburst style. The back of the skirt is unusually full, and cut with stiff, full train. In keeping with this flaring skirt the dolman sleeves are cut from the waist and shirred into the narrow and close-fitting cuff.
