Fernando Vargas vs Shane Mosley - February 25, 2006

"Ferocious" Fernando Vargas and "Sugar" Shane Mosley clashed in a highly anticipated junior middleweight "Showdown" at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 25, 2006. Mosley went on to take the victory with a 10th round TKO. The fight was stopped by the referee when a first round injury to Vargas's left eye worsened and caused his eye to become swollen shut.
