Protesters protested on 17 December 2017 on Avenida Paulista in Sao Paulo, Brazil, asking Lula in the Chain. The Federal Regional Court of the 4th Region (TRF-4) scheduled for January 24, 2018 the trial of former president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva in the case of the triplex of Guarujá (SP). If the conviction determined by Sérgio Moro in the first instance is confirmed in the TRF-4, Lula will be considered ineligible by the Clean Tab Act, anticipating the elections in October.
