Anti-racism Demonstration Held In Lisbon

LISBON, PORTUGAL - JUNE 10: Protesters beat drums and hold flags as they stage an anti-racism demonstration to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the attack to Black Portuguese Alcindo Monteiro in front of 19 Rua Garrett by a group of skinheads on June 10, 2025 in Lisbon, Portugal. Alcindo Monteiro died two days later at Hospital de São José, victim of racial hate crime. The demonstration, followed by an anti-racist festival, has been organized by FAR - Anti-Racist Front, in collaboration with Vida Justa movement and with the support of other organizations such as the National Platform for Gypsy Rights in Portugal, Casa do Brasil de Lisboa, among others.
