Cinema owner hopes to see screenings return to full capacity by autumn

Interview with Ben Freedman the founder of the Prince Charles Cinema in central London. Mr Freedman says that he will have to sell out every film showing on all screens throughout the summer in order to break even. The cinema is only able to allow a third of its usual capacity due to social distancing measures. The Prince Charles in Leicester Square has managed to retain all staff throughout the pandemic, benefiting from the Government’s furlough scheme and a BFI support package.
