Illinois Senator Richard Durbin says that a tweet of President Donald Trump that morning concerned him because 780,000 young people in the deferred action for childhood arrivals program needed extended protections that would end in March, meaning disastrous consequences for the dreamers. Durbin says, Trump called on Congress to act but instead in the tweet said Democrats were in favor of illegal immigrants flooding into the country unchecked, calling passage of the Dream Act, something that can be done and the tweeting must stop.
