Characteristic trullo in the region Puglia in Southern Italy. A trullo is a dry-stone construction, a prehistoric building technique still in use in this region. A building is one room build for a specific purpose and a house can consist of 4-5 buildings. The buildings have all a circular plan, but facades can be added. The buildings are recognized for their design on the Unesco list for World Heritage. Trulli are loved by the tourists but locals prefer to live more comfortable.
