Arbois is a small rural town located at the feet of the Jura mountain range. It is mainly known for its wineries and as the wine capital of Jura, with its own AOC. Picture shows a townscape of Arbois as seen from the vineyards. The town has several historical monuments, some visible in the picture: the Saint-Just Church on the right side, the former Notre-Dame collégiale (whose bell tower is visible on the left side) and the Bontemps castle, built in the XVth century, in front of it.
