These granite sculptures of four US presidents faces on Mount Rushmore is located in the Black Hills, South Dakota, USA. From left to right are the faces of presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. Construction began in 1927 and ended in October 1941 due to lack of funding. Mount Rushmore National Memorial is listed in the U.S. National Register of Historic Places and U.S. Historic District.
