TOKYO, JAPAN - 2019/12/15: A view of Japanese architect Kengo Kuma's National Stadium in Shinjuku, the centerpiece of Tokyo's Olympic and Paralympic facilities. The New National Stadium has distinctive wooden lattice framework and design which blends ultra-modern and traditional Japanese architectural techniques, including 70,000 cubic feet of larch and cedarwood, symbolically taken from all of Japan's 47 prefectures.
