Doug Sanders Jumping Victoriously from Golf Play
(Original Caption) Veteran Doug Sanders drops his putter, and leaps and yells for joy after sinking a five-foot putt on the second hole of a sudden death play off with young Tom Weikopf to win the $100,000 Greater Greensboro Open Golf Tournament. Sanders and Weikopf ended regular play tied at 8 under par. This was Sanders third PGA victory on the winter tour.
