Black Business Owners On Black Wall Street In The Greenwood Neighborhood In Tulsa, Oklahoma

Next year Tulsa will commemorate the race massacre's centennial, which happened on May 30, 1921 for two days after a 19-year-old black shoe shiner named Dick Rowland assaulted a white woman sparking a race massacre. Soon after, a mob of White people took to the streets and killed numerous Black people and set fire to hundreds of Black-owed businesses and homes.
