Drought in Northern Kenya

NORTHERN KENYA, TURKANA, KENYA - 2023/02/18: Turkana people sourcing water from a well to survive drought. Climate change in East Africa is causing the worst drought in its history. It has not rained in this region for more than three years and more than 36 million people are facing the disastrous consequences caused by a heat wave. According to forecasts, the heat wave will not end anytime soon. In Turkana, north of Kenya, people are fighting to survive this terrible drought.
