(Original Caption) The Zatopeks of Czechoslovakia - Emil and his wife, Dana, opened the fifth European games at Bern Wednesday with a double victory. Emil won the 10,000 meter run in the second fastest time on record, 25:58, soon after his wife, Dana, took the women's javelin event with a heave of 52.91 meters to defeat a trio of Russian women.
