(Original Caption) New York: The student non-violent coordinating committee (SNCC) announced today it is withdrawing from Saturday's Vietnam peace rally in protest against mayor Lindsay's appearance as a speaker. A spokesman for the militant black power organization headed by H. Rap Brown charged that Lindsay's opposition to war policy and his efforts to help ghetto Negroes praised by other black militants-are hypocritical. "We can't help but wonder if Mayor Lindsay as well as Senators (Eugene J) McCarthy and (Robert F.)
