4.4 Earthquake Strikes Coast Near Naples

NAPLES, ITALY - MARCH 13: The control and data analysis room of the Vesuvius Observatory that monitors seismic events and phenomena related to the volcanic activity of Vesuvius and Campi Flegrei on March 13, 2025 in Naples, Italy. A seismic event was recorded by the Vesuvius Observatory of the Istituto Nazionale Geofisica e Vulcanologia (National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology) of magnitude 4.4 with epicenter north of Naples. The phenomenon is linked to the bradyseism in progress in the Phlegraean Fields area. The earthquake of tonight near Bagnoli was the strongest in the Phlegraean Fields in the last 40 years.
