Youth Committee Sitting at Lunch Counter

Sit Down Protest. New York: This view through the window of a Woolworth's store here shows members of the New York youth committee for integration sitting in at a lunch counter in the store. The youths, both Black and whites, sat and read papers. The pickets were supporting the demonstrations against lunch counter segregation by Black people in southern states.
