Richard Herrick and His Twin Leaving Hospital

(Original Caption) Richard Herrick (L) is wheeled out by his identical twin brother Ronald, as he leaves the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital after acquiring some fame as the "kidney twin." The twins appear to be in good health following the history-making operation in which Ronald donated a kidney to Richard who was suffering from nephritis. Doctors said they are "extremely encouraged" by the transplant operation, but don't dare yet claim permanent success.
