Reggie Smith Scoring a Run

(Original Caption) Busch Stadium: Reggie Smith, Red Sox, scores 2nd run of 9th inning after Elston reached out and poked a pop-fly hit to right with runners on 2nd and 3rd. Smith, on 2nd when ball was hit, scored when Roger Maris, RF, threw high to plate, the ball getting away from Catcher Tim McCarver. Play was one which decided game, won by Red Sox, 3-1.
