Ayahtollah Khomeini Seated in Garden

(Original Caption) 10/31/1978-Pontchartrain, France- Ayatollah Khomeini, Iranian Moslem religious leader living in exile, sits in his garden at Pontchartrain, near Paris, recently (Oct. 11). He arrived in France from Iraq Oct. 6. Khomeini, who had lived there 15 years, decided to leave Iraq because Iraqi authorities prevented him from having contacts with representatives of Iranian opposition groups seeking the overthrow of the Shah of Iran.
