Activists Protest Against New Natural Gas Drilling Site

REICHLING, GERMANY - MAY 3: People protest against a new natural gas drilling site in Bavaria on May 3, 2025 near Reichling, Germany. Activists from a variety of organizations, including Fridays for Future, Greenpeace and BUND, protested against the site where Genexco Gas is planning on erecting a drill tower next month. Activists say they are hoping to prevent gas exploration in the region, which is close to Ammersee lake, a popular destination for summer bathers and wind surfers.
