Rally For Reparations Held At African Burial Ground In Manhattan

NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JULY 23: People listen to speakers during a rally for reparations at the African Burial Ground National Monument on July 23, 2021 in New York City. People gathered for a rally calling on reparations for descendants of formerly enslaved people organized by December 12th Movement, at the African Burial Ground National Monument. The organization is calling on support of the recently passed slavery reparations bill by the New York State Assembly. The bill will form an 11 person committee comprised of lawmakers and people in the community that would decide how reparations will be paid out.
