(Original Caption) One Cleveland reporter sarcastically stated "Now that the baseball season is over, anyone for skiing?" And that's just the way it seems as the New York Yankees won their 18th straight victory and are now 10 1/2 games ahead of the 2nd place Cleveland Indians who just lost a double-header, and all four in this series as well as all 7 this year to those Yankees. In fact, the New York high of 74,708 fans saw the Cleveland Indians lose twice to the Yankees 6-2 and 3-0. Left to right are: Vic Rashi, winner of the 2nd game; catcher Yogi Berra and Bob Kuzava, winner of the first game. Rashi pitched a two hit shutout and Berra was the big gun in both games.
