MAKHMOUR, IRAQ - 2014/08/20: Nugeen, 45 is a PKK fighter who took part in the recent battle for Makhmour. She is seen posing for a portrait at the PKK base in Makhmour. Makhmour is a town located 50 kilometers South of Erbil, the Kurdistan Capital Regional Government once taken by ISIS but redeemed back by the help of PKK Fighters. Turkish PKK fighters were called for help by the Peshmergas to figth with the ISIS, as they are very seasoned on guerilla-style fight.
