Chris Brasher Runs Olympic Steeplechase

(Original Caption) 11/29/1956-Melbourne, Australia- Britain's Chris Brasher clears the last water jump on his way to the finish line in the 3,000-meter steeplechase of the Olympic games. He was disqualified for "interference," and Sandor Rozsnyoi of Hungary was moved up from runner-up to the winner spot. Great Britain appealed and the jury decided no harm had been done and Brasher was reinstated as the victor with a winning time of 8:41.2.
