Pilot Whales At Pelagos Sanctuary

PELAGOS SANCTUARY (FRANCE), MEDITERRANEAN SEA - AUGUST 15: A long-finned pilot whale (Globicephala melas) calf swim close to its mother on August 15, 2020 in the French part of the Pelagos Sanctuary, Mediterranean Sea. In addition to their smaller size than adults, averaging over 6 meters, calves are paler in color. Their dorsal fin is prominent and triangular, in contrast to the strongly rounded adult one.
