King Haakon Broadcasts During War

(Original Caption) King Haakon photographed at the B.B.C. today when over the microphone he informed the Norwegian people that Soviet Russian forces had crossed the frontier into Norway to fight the common enemy on Norwegian soil. In his speech H.M. King Haakon said that it was to him "a special pleasure to be able to state that Norwegian forces will take part in the operation together with the Soviet Russian troops, and again fight on Norwegian soil".
