PRODUCTION - 16 July 2025, Slovenia, Nova Gorica: The border between the cities of Nova Gorica (Slovenia) and Gorizia (Italy) and is displayed at the train station as a sign for the European Capital of Culture. The cities of Gorizia (Italy) and Nova Gorica (Slovenia) are celebrating 2025 together as European Capital of Culture. For the first time, a cross-border city pair is presenting itself as a European Capital of Culture. Nova Gorica was ceded to the former Yugoslavia under the Treaty of Paris in 1947.
