JUN 5 1970, JUN 8 1970 It's Gravity That Makes the Difference Gravity makes a big difference as these pictures show. The bottom photo shows a small brook in a mountain meadow at 8,000 feet in the Colorado River drainage. The water is in harmony with the encroaching grass and the fence line-but, a couple of thousand feet lower look what happens when gravity goes to work on the water gathered from lots of the small brooks. The scene a ***** is the Colorado River in Glenwood Canyon just east of Glenwood ***** Springs. The river's raging force digs the canyon ever deeper, ***** during the spring.
