Haitian Ambassador To U.S Attends News Conf. In Washington

WASHINGTON - JANUARY 19: Haitan Ambassador to the United States Raymond Joseph (R) is given a tour of the earthquake response command center by District of Columbia Mayor Adrian Fenty (3rd R) and D.C. Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency (HSEMA) Director Millicent Williams (2nd R) inside the Haitian embassy January 19, 2010 in Washington, DC. The District of Columbia has donated the incident managment system equipment to Haiti in the wake of last week's 7.0 magnitude earthquake that destroyed most of Port-au-Prince. Williams explained that the center will be a repository of information for people making decisions about the allocation of information and aid. Ambassador Joseph called on the world to create a kind of Marshall Plan for Haiti that will rebuild the country in the same way Europe was rebuilt after World War II.
