Viewing the Bonneville Dam

This project, 42 miles east of Portland is one of the major power and navigation projects financed with Public Works Administration allotments to the War Department Corps of Engineers. The cost of the dam and initial power installation is estimated at 51,000,000. PWA allotments amount to 32,200,000.
