(Original Caption) For more than 600 George Washington University students in Dr. Patrick Gallagher's anthropology courses, its going to be either feast or flunk this semester. Gallagher, shown at the school here today, in a protest against its grading system, notified 500 freshman who took his introductory anthropology class that he was giving every one of them an "A." At the same time, he indicated he will give all 100 or so, sophomore, junior and senior students a failing grade of "F." Gallagher said that grades are unnecessary, pointless and should be abolished.
