Dr. Albert Einstein points to the model of the world's largest telescope being built for the California Institute of Technology at the Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing Company's South Philadelphia plant. The group observed where the final bolt in the skeleton structure of the 200-inch, 500-ton telescope was placed on April 30, 1937, but the telescope would not be completed for another 11 years.
