Fishing the Nuthe for salmon and sea trout

The men are electrically fishing the Nuthe below Zerbst as part of the "Saxony-Anhalt Migratory Fish Program" in order to detect returning species such as salmon and sea trout. Caught fish are to be registered, measured and weighed and then released close to where they were caught. The institute releases up to 20,000 fry at the site every year.
