Culver City, California: Mass production of the Army's OH-6A "Cayuse" observation helicopter is well under way at Hughes Tool Company's Culver City assembly plant here. The jet-powered craft, which can carry five fully equipped troops in addition to the pilot, holds 23 official world records for speed, climb, distance and sustained altitude, more than any other helicopter. Two OH-6A's of the initial procurement of 1,071 are now in Vietnam for equipment training purposes.
